Jenna Xu is a senior at Del Norte High School. She joined Non-Toxic San Diego because she loves learning about biology and its applications in public health. In her free time, she enjoys practicing piano and kung fu.

Kevin Chapman - Vice President
Kevin Chapman is a senior at Westview High School. He joined Non-Toxic San Diego because he wants to help protect the natural world and raise awareness of the conditions that imperil it. For the forthcoming documentary, he is analyzing the different ways that Mexican and U.S. media portray the Tijuana River crisis.

Vivian Zhang - Vice President
Vivian Zhang is a junior at Del Norte High School. As a citizen of San Diego, she feels responsible to help maintain the operation of the community. She joined Non-Toxic San Diego to keep beaches, parks, and neighborhoods clean because San Diego is her home.

Evan Chen - Secretary
Evan Chen is a sophomore at Canyon Crest Academy. He joined Non-Toxic San Diego to save species that are endangered due to a low amount of public or government awareness. He aims to bring awareness to these issues and help create solutions.

Derek Su
Derek Su is a sophomore at Canyon Crest Academy. He joined Non-Toxic San Diego to protect his local species and ecosystems. He is currently researching government funding, binational agreements, and policies addressing the Tijuana River Sewage crisis.

Sherilyn Li
Sherilyn Li is a sophomore at the Bishop’s School. She joined Non-Toxic San Diego to learn and spread awareness about the Tijuana River pollution’s effects on human health, the economies of nearby communities, and potential solutions. For the forthcoming documentary, Sherilyn is researching stormwater and the overloaded government water treatment infrastructure.

Grace Ye is a junior at Del Norte High School. She joined Non Toxic San Diego to learn more about the Tijuana River sewage crisis, its negative impact on the nearby environment and communities, and ways to help resolve it. For the forthcoming documentary, Grace is researching the environmental consequences of the Tijuana River’s pollution.
